Ladies’ Lunch: All About Jade

Fine jade has been highly sought after as jewellery for hundreds of years. Originating from various locations in the world, the most famous origin of jade is Burma. The popularity of jade has grown immensely over the past decade and fine pieces from Burma have captured the world's attention in recent years.
There are different types of jadeite typically defined by laboratories: Types A, B and C. Apart from the laboratory definitions, quality of jades is also defined by several physical attributes. The differences in prices based on these differences are vast and often times, indiscernible from the first look.
At this talk, we wish to explore the differences in jade with actual examples. With the differences defined, we will explain how different qualities of jades result in a wide range of prices and how best to choose a choice jade jewellery in the future.
